Stephanie Gunawan
Fashion Design | Costume Design | Costume Technology
Hello! Originally from Marysville, Ohio, I grew up with a background in STEM and an overwhelming love for textiles and fashion. I spent 5 years prepping and planning to pursue a degree in Engineering or Interior Architecture - but ended up tossing all of that aside to pursue my true passions with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design at Kent State University. Along the way, I picked up a minor in Costume Design and technology, a second degree in Theater Production, member and leadership in several clubs and honor societies, and a sense of comfort in knowing I had made the right choice.

Now a recent graduate, I have been able to expand my portfolio and pick up specialized skills in 3D Digital Pattern Development (CLO3D), Haute Couture Techniques, Print Design, Knitwear Design, Digital Knit Programming (M1+ and CREATE+), Stoll Digital Knitting Machine Operation, Dyeing Techniques, Textile Manipulations, Historical Costume Construction.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my portfolio!
